The couch is in every listing photo.

Leather couch repair before listing: scratches, fading, worn arms and split seams fixed in the home, before the photographer arrives. Quoted from photos, done on site, under your name if you want it that way.

Why it matters

Buyers see the couch before they see the kitchen.

The living room is the lead photo in most listings, and the sofa is the biggest thing in it. A scratched arm or a faded seat reads as a tired home, however good the rest is. A repair is usually far cheaper than a new sofa, and it keeps the staging the seller already has.

We work for agents, their sellers and landlords across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island and New Jersey. See real results on our before and after page.

Three ways

Three ways we get a couch listing-ready.

Most listings need one of these, done in a single visit. When repair is not enough, we reupholster or replace cushions instead.

Matched to the couch, not to a catalogue.

Colour is mixed to the couch as it is today, faded arms included, through custom colour matching. If a panel has to be replaced, the hide is sourced through material matching.

Questions

What agents ask first.

Is leather couch repair before listing worth it?

Usually. The couch is in the lead photo of most listings, and a repair costs far less than replacing it or restaging the room. Send photos and we will tell you honestly whether a repair will make a visible difference.

Can you do it before the photographer comes?

That is the point. Tell us the photo or staging date when you send photos, and the visit is booked ahead of it, with the finish set and dry in time.

Can you work while the seller is still living there?

Yes. We agree the hours with the household, work in one room, protect the floors and leave nothing behind.

Who pays, the agent or the seller?

Either. The quote can go to you or straight to the seller, whichever suits the listing.

Will the seller know it was you who arranged it?

Only if you want them to. The crew is unbranded and leaves no cards, and we can speak to the seller on your behalf or not at all.

What if the couch is too far gone?

We say so. Sometimes reupholstery or new cushions make more sense, and sometimes the honest answer is to stage without it. Peeling bonded leather cannot be repaired.
