After you send it

What happens after you submit

A Leather Restore Pro technician reviewing customer photos of damaged leather seating on a monitor
  1. 01

    We read every photo

A technician goes through the request and the photographs, usually within one business day.

  2. 02

We ask what the photos cannot show

If a frame, a spring or a mechanism needs a closer look, we ask for one more photo or a short call before we price it.

  3. 03

You get the quote in writing

Each piece and the repair it needs, written out with the price, so you can approve all of it or only part.

  4. 04

We book the work around the room

On site or pickup and delivery, in business hours, after hours or overnight, whichever the room allows.

What to photograph

Six photos that make a quote accurate

A phone is enough. These six views answer most of the questions we would otherwise have to ask.

Photographing a whole brown leather armchair straight on with a phone

The whole piece

Straight on, in good light, so we see its shape and size.
A phone held close to an open seam on a leather cushion

Every problem, close

Each tear, crack, stain or open seam, one photo apiece.
A row of matching green leather lobby chairs photographed together

All matching units

The full row, so we see which pieces share the damage.
A tape measure run along the seat of a leather restaurant banquette

The dimensions

A tape across the seat, or along the run of a banquette.

The maker's label

Brand and model tags under the seat help us match the material.

Quote or assessment

Photographs, or a visit?

A commercial furniture repair quote needs your photos. An assessment needs our time on site. Pick the one that fits the job.

For damage a camera can show: scuffs, cracks, tears, stains, open seams and faded color. You photograph it, we price it, and nobody has to travel.

Questions

Before you send it

Can you really price the work without a visit?

Usually. Clear photos of the whole piece and every damaged area are enough for most surface repairs, seams and color work. When a photo cannot show the problem, we say so and ask for one more view or a short visit.

What if I do not know the material?

Tick Not Sure. Leather, vinyl and faux leather can look alike in a photo. A close-up of the surface and the maker's label usually settles it, and we confirm the material before the quote goes out.

Can one commercial furniture repair quote cover several locations?

Yes. Enter the number of locations and describe the pieces at each one under Project Details. Larger programs can run as a bulk project, scheduled site by site.

Can the work happen after hours?

Yes. Choose Off-Hours or Overnight under Preferred Work Hours. Restaurants and hotels often need the work done while the room is closed.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes. Answer Yes to the COI question and send the wording your building requires. The certificate is issued before any work starts.

Something is damaged and cannot wait.
