Nightclub upholstery NYC: a lounge of black tufted curved banquettes under neon lighting

Nightclub upholstery NYC

Recover the whole run, or change the room entirely.

Booths, banquettes, bar stools and lounge seating stripped back and recovered on your dark nights, mostly without the piece leaving the room.

Three verdicts

Repair one panel, recover the run, or change the look

How far the failure has spread decides this, not how bad the worst seat looks. Every nightclub upholstery NYC quote starts there.

  • A black nightclub club chair with the leather seat split open

One seat is split and the rest of the run is sound. We replace that panel and blend it into its neighbors.

    Localized damage

    Repair, not reupholstery

  • A nightclub ottoman seat with the finish crazed across the whole top

The topcoat has crazed across every seat in the row. Patching keeps costing you; recovering stops it.

    Extensive wear

    Recover the whole run

  • A red leather curved banquette and club chairs in a nightclub lounge

Nothing has failed. The room is being rebranded and the seating comes back in a new color and material.

What nightclub upholstery NYC covers, and where each piece is worked

Clubs order the run, not the seat: a VIP row, a whole banquette wall, every stool at the bar, priced and scheduled as one bulk job.

  • A curved black tufted VIP booth in a nightclub

Built to the bay, so it is recovered where it stands, cover off and deck rebuilt on the night.

  • A curved tufted leather banquette under club lighting

Curves are patterned on the frame, so the new cover follows every bay without a pleat.

    Curved banquettes

  • A straight black tufted wall banquette with marble tables

Recovered bay by bay along the wall, so the room is never stripped at once.

  • A black tufted chesterfield lounge sofa in a nightclub

Loose, so it is collected, stripped to the frame in the workshop and returned before the weekend.

  • A round tufted leather ottoman on a nightclub floor

Sat on, stood on, used as a table. The top is rebuilt and recovered in the room or the workshop.

Often bolted down. Seats come off the base, are recovered and go back on the same visit.

Under the cover

What the old cover has been hiding

Once the cover is off, the foam and the support deck are visible for the first time in years, and nightclub upholstery NYC work is priced on what is found there.

  1. Collapsed upholstery foam lifted out of a nightclub seat

    01

    Foam that has bottomed out

Foam under a bottle-service seat compresses flat. No new cover fixes a seat that has gone hard.

  2. Sagging webbing and springs exposed under a stripped banquette seat

    02

    The support deck

Slack webbing lets the seat sag in the middle long before the cover looks worn.

  3. A rebuilt seat base with fresh high-density foam before recovering

    03

    Rebuilt, then recovered

Both are put right while the cover is off, with high-density foam.

Materials

Materials built for nightlife

Denim dye, spilled sugar and a closing crew with solvent decide the material, not the swatch book. For nightclub upholstery NYC runs it is ordered as one lot.

  • A black commercial vinyl upholstered ottoman corner

    01

    Commercial vinyl

The default for high-turn booths: wipes clean, takes solvent, holds color under LED. See the material.

  • A cognac genuine leather upholstered ottoman corner

    02

    Genuine leather

Where guests put their hands: bottle-service seating, club chairs, the top roll. Leather reupholstery.

  • A burgundy faux leather upholstered ottoman corner

    03

    Faux leather

Reads as leather at arm’s length and costs less across a full run. See the material.

  • An emerald performance velvet upholstered ottoman corner

    04

    Performance velvet

Deep color under colored light, with a cleanable backing, from contract mills like Greenhouse Fabrics.

  • A charcoal woven performance fabric upholstered ottoman corner

    05

    Performance fabric

Solution-dyed and woven, for backs and wall panels that never take a spill. See the material.

  • Leather and vinyl upholstery sample swatches fanned out on a table

    06

    Custom and designer goods

Styles and details

Tufting, channels or plain, decided at the pattern stage

The frame does not dictate the look. Deep buttoning holds spills in the wells; smooth panels wipe down fastest at close.

Color changes, phased runs and what drives the price

We are rebranding. Can the seating come back in a different color?

Yes, and it is the cheapest way to change a room. The frames, the springs and usually the foam stay; only the cover changes, so a black VIP row can come back emerald or burgundy. We match the color to a sample or your brand spec and check it under your own lights.

Can you build new booths to match the ones we are recovering?

Yes. Where a room has gained a corner or lost a unit, we build the new piece to the same dimensions, pattern and material, cut from the same lot so it reads as one set.

Can we recover half the booths now and the rest next quarter?

Yes, and phased runs are common. Vinyl and leather are dyed in lots, so we record the exact spec at the first quote and, where the maker allows, reserve material for the later phase.

What decides the price of recovering a whole run?

Yardage first, then pattern. A tufted curved banquette takes more material and labor than a straight wall bench. After that, foam condition, fixed or loose, and how many dark nights we get. Runs are quoted as one volume job.
